- These books have been wonderful for my daughter. She has learned so much from the Primer books and we are excited to get started on Level 1. I took off a star for the digital download (25 Piano Pieces for Children) portion of this bundle. It comes in an RAR file that requires extra software to open. The sheet music in the digital download has no words and is very small and plain-not at all for children. I doubt my 5 year old will have any interest in playing the songs. Save yourself the extra 2 bucks and just get the normal Faber bundle and you will be thrilled!
- The four-book set of music instructions is designed for small children but I've had a wonderful time using it as an adult learner. The lessons (along w/ the theory, technique and performance sections) can be broken down into 30-45 minute sessions which is just right amount of time for a beginner. I'm learning to sight read music, a long-desired skill, and my old hands are still trainable! I'm ready for the 2A series now and plan to work through all of them! I feel like a child again.
- Great set of lesson books. My son learned on these when he was young and now that he has students, he uses these books too. Easy to follow and comprehend. Definitely, need a whole set like this because theory is just as important as the lesson book and the performance books - the set makes you more well rounded.
- I am 70 ..and have always wanted to play...so I decided I would get some books and go for it 😊 the books are for kids..but I needed to start from scratch 😠so very glad I did..great for any age..brings fun into learning ðŸ˜
- Just what the piano teacher ordered. My daughter is learning well and progressing nicely with these books. At first, it seemed like we were going backwards in regard to skill level. But I soon realized that although the pieces are easier than she was used to playing, she is learning much more about music theory & the dynamics of songs.
- Books show there should be a CD included but...no CD with. Some reviews say it is some not. I can't give a good review if something is missing.
- Faber & Faber is a great piano-teaching product! I use it a lot!! This set is for a transfer student who has already covered the Primer level.
- Best series for teaching piano. Each book has its own purpose. Personally I love the lesson and performance books, and use the theory and technique book on specific occasions to teach my beginner students.
